Automated Estimated Creatinine Clearance (CrCl) Calculator
JACHO requires pharmacy to routinely perform estimated Creatinine Clearance calculations for patient populations over age 65. The CrCl Calculator performs the calculation and updates calculated value to the Patient Master File (PMF). While the CrCl Calculator can support any algorithm, current options include performing the calculation for all patients over age 18 using either Cockcroft-Gault or Jeliffe formula (in that hierarchical order). A new Estimated Creatinine Clearance is filed via batch processing (nightly) whenever equation components (weight, serum creatinine) are
updated.

has expanded the allergy codes to include Alpha characters? IMAGE release 4.0 has enhancements that allow medication allergies to be filed from a list of Allergies created from the NDF with up to 3 allergy codes for each allergy? And the conversion from First Data®
allergy code to Series 7000 code occurs automatically! The medication allergy list file provides a comprehensive list of medication allergy (all the medications available from the
NDF!) for accurate documentation and allergy processing. The allergies can be entered by brand name. |
National Drug Formulary (NDF) Ambulatory / Non-formulary Ordering
If you are currently an Advanced Pharmacy Account with a National Drug Formulary
(NDF) we can show you how to turn the NDF into a comprehensive Ambulatory / non-formulary ordering file. The medications are cross-referenced by brand names and the file can be used to access all the available drug monographs, not just for drugs in the Medication Master File
(MMF).
